The Sini-Gang are pinoys depicting a slice of Filipino-American life in Virginia Beach, VA via a weekly, light-hearted Podcast. We discuss anything and everything, and we call 'em as we see 'em through our Filipino-American eyes. Don't take us too seriously though, we don't.

The Show Notes

Please note that this episode was recorded on the evening of April 16, 2007.  The same Monday evening that the tragedy at Virginia Tech occurred.  At the time of the recording, very little information was available about the incident.

As of this posting, we now know that the perpetrator of this ugly incident is Cho Seung-Hui, a Korean American student at Tech.

This episode was recorded to express our feelings about this tragedy at that exact time.  There are various outlets (tv news, newspapers, etc) where you can find a more accurate account of the events and valid news.  Our podcast is only to convey what we are thinking and how we feel about the events, not as a source for news.

The Gang was fortunate that no one close to us was killed or injured. Even still, the saying holds true: \\\"We Are All Hokies.\\\" And our hearts go out to all those who grieve, and to those who are attempting to heal after this tragedy.

I\\\'m sure that your prayers are much appreciated.
It\\\'s good to hear from you, Eleanor. It\\\'s nice to know that you\\\'re still listening.

Hi guys, I know it\\\'s been forever since I\\\'ve commented. You know what bothers me about this . .Well the obvious. It should have never happened. But did you also hear that there were copy cats after this? in different states? Cho\\\'s family is so ashamed and I feel sorry for them to have to deal with this knowing their family member was the crazy fool that killed so many people. I hope you guys didn\\\'t know any of the victims that were killed. If so, My prayers for you, their family and friends.. *hugz* -- Eleanor
